KegSync – Terms and Conditions

Welcome to KegSync. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our platform, including keg sales, fulfillment, logistics, and integrated eCommerce services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with these terms. If you do not agree, you must refrain from using KegSync.
1. Definitions

"KegSync" – The platform facilitating the sale, distribution, and fulfillment of beer kegs and related products.

"Brewery" or "Seller" – A licensed business listing and selling kegs or other alcoholic beverages through KegSync.

"Buyer" – A trade customer, including bars, pubs, restaurants, wholesalers, and other licensed entities, purchasing kegs via KegSync.

"Services" – The logistics, fulfillment, marketplace, eCommerce integrations, and other solutions provided by KegSync.

"Order" – A request placed by a Buyer for the purchase and delivery of one or more kegs.
-
"Fulfillment Partner" – Third-party logistics and warehousing providers facilitating keg storage, collection, and delivery.
2. Eligibility & Account Registration
2.1. Eligibility
To use KegSync, you must:
✔ Be a registered business legally authorized to sell or purchase alcohol.
✔ Comply with all relevant UK licensing laws and local regulations regarding the sale and distribution of alcoholic beverages.
✔ Provide accurate and complete business details, including a valid VAT number (if applicable).
2.2. Account Creation

Sellers and buyers must create an account to access full platform functionalities.

KegSync reserves the right to approve, decline, or suspend accounts at its discretion.

Account holders are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials and ensuring account security.
3. Selling Kegs & Other Products
3.1. Seller Responsibilities
✔ Sellers must ensure all products comply with UK licensing and trading standards.
✔ Listings must include accurate descriptions, stock levels, and pricing.
✔ Kegs must be securely packaged and labeled according to industry regulations.
✔ Any regulatory changes affecting product legality must be immediately communicated to KegSync.
3.2. Order Acceptance & Processing

Sellers are responsible for confirming and processing orders promptly.

Once an order is placed, it cannot be canceled by the seller without valid reason, such as inventory issues or buyer non-compliance.

KegSync reserves the right to pause or remove listings that are misleading or non-compliant.
4. Fulfillment, Delivery & Warehousing
4.1. Fulfillment Services

KegSync offers warehousing and fulfillment solutions to assist sellers in efficient order management.

Sellers can opt to use KegSync’s fulfillment partners for storage, collection, and delivery or arrange their own logistics.
4.2. Delivery Timelines

Standard delivery within 2-5 business days unless otherwise agreed.
-
Urgent or same-day orders may incur additional fees, subject to availability.

Buyers must ensure delivery access is available at the scheduled time.
4.3. Failed or Missed Deliveries
-
If a delivery fails due to incorrect buyer information, lack of access, or absence, re-delivery may incur additional fees.

Sellers are responsible for resolving delivery disputes directly with buyers.
4.4. Warehouse Storage Solutions

Sellers may store kegs in KegSync-affiliated warehouses for streamlined distribution.

Storage is subject to monthly fees based on pallet space and duration.

Unclaimed stock beyond agreed terms may be disposed of or returned at the seller’s expense.
5. Pricing, Payments & Fees
5.1. Pricing Structure

Sellers determine their own pricing but must honor listed prices at the time of sale.

Prices should include all applicable taxes, duties, and service fees.
5.2. Commission & Platform Fees
-
KegSync charges a commission per transaction or a monthly subscription fee, depending on the seller’s plan.
-
Additional fees may apply for premium services, warehousing, and fulfillment support.
5.3. Payment Processing

Payments for sales are processed securely through KegSync’s integrated payment provider.
-
Sellers receive payouts within 7 working days of successful delivery, minus applicable fees.

Buyers must settle invoices within 14 days, unless otherwise specified in their agreement.
6. Cancellations, Returns & Refunds
6.1. Order Cancellations

Buyers may cancel orders within 24 hours unless already processed.
-
Sellers cannot cancel orders after dispatch unless due to unforeseen circumstances.
6.2. Refund Policy
-
Sellers may offer refunds for damaged, defective, or undelivered kegs at their discretion.

KegSync is not responsible for product quality issues, as liability remains with the seller.

Refunds must be processed within 7 working days of an approved return request.
7. Compliance & Legal Obligations
7.1. Licensing & Regulatory Compliance

Sellers must hold the necessary licenses to sell alcohol and comply with all local regulations.

Buyers must ensure they are legally permitted to purchase and store alcohol.

KegSync reserves the right to suspend accounts breaching licensing laws.
7.2. Age Verification & Responsible Selling

Sellers must ensure sales comply with UK laws regarding minimum drinking age requirements.

Buyers purchasing alcoholic products must provide valid business verification.
8. Platform Conduct & Security
8.1. Fair Use Policy

Sellers and buyers must act in good faith and adhere to ethical business practices.
-
Any fraudulent, misleading, or illegal activity will result in account termination.
8.2. Data Security & Privacy

KegSync protects user data in compliance with GDPR and UK data laws.
-
User details will never be shared with third parties without consent.
9. Liability & Disputes
9.1. Limitation of Liability

KegSync acts as a facilitator and is not liable for product defects, misdeliveries, or seller-buyer disputes.

Sellers and buyers must resolve disputes independently, with KegSync assisting as needed.
9.2. Dispute Resolution
-
Any disputes must first be addressed directly between parties.
-
If unresolved, KegSync may mediate but is not obligated to enforce resolutions.

Legal disputes will be governed under UK law.
10. Termination & Suspension
10.1. Suspension of Services

KegSync reserves the right to suspend accounts found in violation of these terms.
-
Account holders will receive notice and an opportunity to appeal before permanent termination.
10.2. Account Closure
-
Users may request to close their account with 14 days’ notice.
-
Any outstanding fees must be settled before account closure.
11. Changes to Terms & Contact Information
-
KegSync may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued platform use constitutes acceptance of modifications.

Users will be notified of major changes impacting their account or services.
